The Transfer Center is now located in Student Success Center (SSC), Room 1079.

The Transfer Center assists CCSF students who want to transfer to universities for their bachelor's degree. In Fall 2025, the Transfer Center will be prioritizing students who are applying for Spring 2026 or Fall 2026 transfer admissions.

Planning on transferring for Spring/Fall 2027 or later? Academic counseling is available for students who have transfer questions. All CCSF counselors are knowledgeable on transfer requirements. Please visit the Counseling Services and Programs website for counseling information and appointments. 

New students who want to transfer to CCSF from another college should visit the Steps to Become a CCSF student website to initiate the process.

Monday, September 15th from 10 am - 2 pm in the Wellness Amphitheater. 

Over 40 colleges and universities will be on campus. Stop by and ask university representatives your admissions questions and pick up information from them.

Spring 2026 Transfer Admissions

  • CSU transfer admission application priority filing period: August 1-31, 2025
    • Visit thewebsite for each campus deadline.
    • CSU Application, Steps and Instructions has resources, instructions, FAQs, and CSU application link.
    • Need help with your Spring 2026 application? Come in during the Transfer Center's Drop-In hours. See the "Drop-in Counseling" tab below for the schedule. Students must open and start their CSU application before coming in for Drop-In Counseling. 

 

 Fall 2026 Transfer Admissions

  • CSU transfer application period: October 1- December 1, 2025

    • The application opens on October 1st.
    • CSU Application, Steps and Instructions has resources, instructions, FAQs, and the CSU application link.
    • The Transfer Center will be hosting application assistance events from October - December.  Information will be posted on the Transfer Center website. Please check back in early October for the events details. 

     

  • UC transfer application period: October 1 - December 1, 2025
    • UC application opens on August 1st.
    • Submissions period is October 1 - December 1, 2025
    • UC Application, Steps, and Instructions has resources, Personal Insight Questions, application instructions, and the UC application link.
    • The English Lab and NetTutor are campus resources to assist students with their Personal Insight Questions. More information can be found in the UC Application, Steps, and Instructions link.
    • The Transfer Center will be hosting application assistance events from October - December.  Information will be posted on the Transfer Center website. Please check back in early October for the events details. 

UC Transfer Admissions Guarantee (TAG) for Fall 2026 admissions

  • TAG filing period: September 1- 30, 2025

  • Need assistance with TAG for Fall 2025 admissions? Students can come in during Drop-In Counseling for assistance. The Transfer Center will also be hosting TAG application events in September. Please check back in September for a complete list of event dates and details. 

Students Not Transferring for Spring 2026 or Fall 2026

Universities like UC Berkeley, SF State, HBCUs, and others have free virtual events for students. We have a list and continually add more as we receive invitations for our CCSF students. Keep checking the Latest News link for events throughout the semester.

51ÇàÂ¥ the Transfer Center

The Transfer Center is the hub of transfer information and events for 51ÇàÂ¥. We offer support and resources to help students prepare and successfully transfer to a four-year degree program. We train all CCSF counselors on transfer requirements so they can best assist students with their transfer goals.  

Connect with a Transfer Center Counselor:

Appointments by referral. Students must receive a referral from an academic counselor for a Transfer Center appointment. Appointments are typically for students who have complex situations.

August 18th – 29th  Drop-In Schedule

15-20 minutes per student. 

 

Mondays: 10:30 am – 12 pm and 1- 3 pm in Student Success Center (SSC) 1079 

  • Note: August 25th schedule will be 10 am – 11 am and 1-3 pm  

Tuesdays: 10 am – 12 pm and 1- 3 pm in SSC 1079  

Wednesdays: 10 am – 12 pm and 2-4 pm in SSC 1079 

Thursdays: 10 am – 12 pm and 1-3 pm (Virtual) to join.
